A Delhi based dealer claims that ‘European plywood is as good as top India made plywood brands because of its straightness, clean look and sturdiness’. This is 100 % calibrated ply, which is the most important feature that claims by retailers and suppliers.
The market inputs and demand sentiments are clearly indicating a gap in supplies and other wholesalers too have started searching for such materials. The users are asking for European plywood because of growing uses of costly decorative surfaces or new coating that make the furniture very beautiful. Its calibrated feature is very useful when it comes to overlaying new polishes in machines or processing it with help of modern furniture making machine. At OEM making of kitchens, furniture, wardrobes, shutters etc are increasingly being preferred to be made with such plywood. The price of this quality is ranging between Rs 120 to Rs 160 per sq ft which is almost double than a good quality plywood manufactured in India.
