Surfactant Industries recently launched its range of Hotmelt Adhesives under the trade name “Starke-Melt” in the Indian Market at the recently held Wood Tech Exhibition held at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai from August 4th to August 6th, 2017. Starke-Melt the range of Hot melt adhesives are available in two grades SI-7090M for Manual Edgebanding application with an application temperature of 130-150 C and SI-5050A for Automatic/Through feed Edge banding application with an application temperature of 190-210 C.
These Hotmelt adhesives are specially formulated for various types of Edgebanding materials and edgebanders used by makers of Kitchen and Bathroom Cabinets, Office Furniture, Store Fixtures etc. Surfactant Industries Flagship product Starke, which has excellent Water Resistance in comparison to Conventional White Wood adhesives, is already very popular in the Indian OEM Market among Furniture and Modular Kitchen Manufacturers and Exporters. The product had been developed in close association with Dr. Herbert Eck of Germany who is an author of more than 100 adhesive related patents.
