Bhandari Brothers was started in 1992 as a retail shop for plywood, laminates and adhesives. They got associated with AICASUNMAICA five years before from now and flourished to another level by adding many potential customers to their business due to innovative offerings from the brand. The brand helped him grow also with their new addition of laminates like newly introduced KAIYA range which attracted many architects and interior designers to their business. Q. When and how did you enter into this business?

A. I started my business in the year 1992 in Nasik with plywood, laminate and adhesive.

Q. How far has been your journey with Sunmica brand?

A. I am associated with Aica Sunmica brand since last 5 years.

Q. How did you first come to know about this brand and how important do you feel brand Sunmica has been for your business growth?

A. I came to know about brand Aica Sunmica through Pune based one of my business friends and then I consulted with some of my close friends in Nasik also.

Q. What is the best thing do you like the most about Sunmica brand?

A. The best thing in our Brand is quality, availability and competitive price as compared to other brands in market.

Q. How do you find Sunmica brand after change of hands since 2011?

A. I have started after 2011 with Sunmica and very happy to be associated with multinational Japanese brand.

Q. How important has been a long term association with a brand like Sunmica for the growth of dealers?

A. After associating with brand Sunmica my business volume in laminates has increased to a good extent and numbers of new customers are also attached with me due to this.

Q. With the changing modern marketing style to offer laminates to market with vibrant colours, textures, schemes, new launches with aggression. In this regard what is your perception about AICA?

A. Sunmica is also trying to incorporate nee designs, new pattern textures n presentation of folders as per market trends and it’s a good sign for us and I am very happy to see that customers are also happy with new patterns of textures n wood grains.

Q. What are the best things with AICA for Nasik and surrounding market?

A. The best thing for Nasik with Aica is fast service and variants of 1 mm and .80 mm from Pune and due to this our customer base increased in last 3-4 years varies widely.

Q. How do you see business with brand AICA after GST?

A. After GST number of small laminate players are facing problem and we have got the advantage of extra sale in this market and very well acceptance of price after GST in our market.

Q. What do you feel, is the best thing that has been offered by AICA in the last 5 years?

A. The best thing under Japanese management is improved quality of shade card, time management in supply and excellent coordination with dealers and customers in our market.

Q. According to you what is the advantage of Japanese technology for your customers?

A. Yes with Japanese technology quality of laminate including sanding has improved at a very high level and packing of material has also improved remarkably.

Q. Your opinion on new range ‘Kaiya”, introduced by AICA?

A. Kaiya range is good and well accepted by architects and interior designers and I am trying to make a big display for that to improve sales of this range.
