The interest of being attached to interior business activity during school days has brought Mr Sumit Krishna Agarwal of Lucknow based Krishna Ply & Hardware’s Pvt Ltd in laminate business. He after completing his study started plywood and laminates business and later got associated to a premium brand SUNMAICA 15 years before. Prompt service, new designs and quality with attractive rates are guiding factors, which helped his business to grow many folds. He believes that being associated with premium brand has given him an identity and sense of belongingness in the market. Q. When and how did you enter into this business?

A. I was very much interested in interior business during my studies, so after completing my education I started the business of plywood & laminate.

Q.How far has been your journey with Sunmica brand?

A. We are associated with Sunmica brand for more than 15 years.

Q. How did you first come to know about this brand and how important do you feel brand Sunmica has been for your business growth?

A. I know about this brand even when I was not in this business. When I started the business and got a chance to work with Sunmica brand, I accepted without any second thought. Now Sunmica brand has become an essential part of our shop. We have got tremendous response among architects as well as interior decorators for the product line of Sunmica brand.

Q. What is the best thing do you like the most about Sunmica brand?

A. Prompt service, new designs and quality with attractive rates are the things I like most in Sunmica brand.

Q. How do you find Sunmica brand after change of hands since 2011?

A. After joining hands with Aica, company has improved a lot in its quality & shades. Now company is way ahead of competitive brands.

Q. How important has been a long term association with a brand like Sunmica for the growth of dealers?

A. Long term association with any premium brand always gives you an identity in the market. You also get repeat orders and approvals in projects.

I accepted sunmica without any second thought. Now Sunmica brand has become an essential part of our shop. We have got tremendous response among architects as well as interior decorators for the product line of Sunmica brand.

Q. With the changing modern marketing style to offer laminates to market with vibrant colours, textures, schemes, new launches with aggression. In this regard what is your perception about AICA?

A. I think company has already started working on this department. New KAIYA range is perfect example of this.

Q. What are the best things with AICA for Lucknow and surrounding market?

A. AICA in Lucknow has got a great team.

Q. How do you see business with brand AICA after GST?

A. After GST company is getting better share in the market.

Q. What do you feel is the best thing that has been offered by AICA in the last 5 years?

A. Nice shade range and totally different textures are the best things offered by AICA.

Q. According to you what is the advantage of Japanese technology for your customers?

A. Quality of product is far better than any other brand. Customers are very much satisfied.

Q. Your opinion on new range ‘KAIYA”, introduced by AICA.

A. good initiative taken by the company. Customers are appreciating the textures and new shades. We are getting unexpected response.
