The projects announced between 2009 to 2016 are racing against time to complete their unfinished sites. Them pursued demand in film face category is largely coming from retail customers making their own houses who prefer to use 26-28 kg segment plywood or builders who are completing the formwork for remaining floors with above 30 kg plywood.

The pressure of film face plywood manufacturers eased after the flash demand coming to them from builders during January 2018. The film face stockiest are giving the material to builders by accepting long due payments keeping a hope that some rotation will enable them to extract past dues running in crores.
