Regency Played An Important Role In Business Establishment

They were working in a plywood shop in Pune but seeing the potential in plywood trade, they came to Nashik and began from zero. With dedication and support of Regency they have doing good business since last ten years. The Ply Reporter talked to Mukesh Jain and Manoj Jain, proprietors, Nashik based Apurvam Laminates and tried to find out the Regency market change in this region.

Q:- How did you come to wood panel trade and how is the journey so far?

A:- We are in this trade since the year 2007.   After observing the Pune plywood market while doing job at a retail counter there for several years we had decided to open a shop at Nashik. This was a beginning from zero without any support from family. I just started to dispatch goods by showing samples to the clients and later the firm was formed. It’s been more than ten years of journey and today we are happy with the trade and whatever achievement we got.

Q:- How did you get in touch with Regency and why?

A:- We got associated with Regency about a decade ago. They are very cooperative and good persons and their marketing policy is also very good that’s why we wanted to work with them. Secondly, we can connect with Lalit Agarwal ji directly so the process becomes easy. Regency makes many types of plywood such as commercial; MR, BWR, etc. Later our relationship got stronger and dealing increased when one of my clients required Gurjan plywood. That time Regency added Gurjan product so that we got deeply associates with them. We sell mostly Regency Crown and have not received any complaint till date. Their price is also reasonable so that people ask this brand by name.

Q:- What other products of Regency you are selling?

A:- We are very confident being associated with Regency Ply and their support lead us to be enthused for our business growth. We are selling their shuttering plywood as well. We also deal in their other products if there is requirement from the customer. Their products thickness is even more than what they claim.

Q:- What changes you absorb in that market?

A:- There is much growth in the market of Nashik. It was not much happening city and initially there was not very much demand of plywood.  But, with awareness and development in the real estate in this region, people turned towards plywood because it is cost effective and able to be used multi purposely. So the sales have increased. They had entered in this market in the year 2009 and enjoying the benefit of growth of the city since then. Now the new solutions have come into the markets which are very much innovative, durable and attractive but people still stick with old ones. We are supplying till 30 kilometres area and we serve them with total dedication.

Q:- What support or benefit you get from Regency as a company?

A:- They also advertise their products by bill-board display and TV commercials that creates awareness and customers ask for their products more. They support us with gifts like pen drive, tea shirts etc. If there would be any ‘scheme and target’ for sales the dealers would have been working with greater interest. Our relationship with company is good and we hope in future it will be much supportive in all aspects.
