Padam Jain Owned New Pragati Plywood Industries Begins Production in July

New Pragati Plywood Industries - a unit from the stable of Padam Jain based at Yamunanagar has started production in July month. He had opted for plywood manufacturing after a long journey in wood panel trade for over two decades. New Pragati Plywood Industries manufactures plywood, block board and doors. The new plant installed capacity is 50 million sq ft in which plywood production is 90% (commercial and marine grade) and rest 10% is door production per year with installing six hot presses. Very soon they are adding two more press in coming days. “We are moving ahead with the strategies of maximising our activity and double the capacity as well as turnover within the period of ten years for all our verticals under New Pragati Plywood industries which include: Plywood, Block Boards, Shuttering Ply, Laminate, Particle Board, Waterproof Ply, Chequered Plywood & Flush Doors etc,” said Mr Padam Jain, promoter of the company.

He believes in quality and finds it ultimate in success of any product and says that the quality is primary for gaining customers confidence. Despite belonging to the MSME category he is well known in the market. Interacting with the Ply Reporter he shared the objective to venture into manufacturing, “We were experiencing gap in the market of good suppliers. Whatever they had, were not up to the mark to their commitments. Sometimes they were compromising with quality due to unresponsiveness or greediness. At that point of time we were thinking to have to grow and there was no option rather to move towards manufacturing.”

“Our group strengths are man-powers as partners, having experience of 33 years of marketing, good knowledge to the technology of plywood manufacturing, being centrally located at the hub of plywood manufacturing are an added advantages for the growth,” he said. New Pragati Plywood have ventured into plywood manufacturing with a vision to make good product for the mid segment retail market based on PR and sustainably grow ‘slow but steady’ with their own principle.
