Ashoka Foam’s Production Back to Normal after Fire Incident

Bareilly based Ashoka Foam Multi Plast Limited recently witnessed a fire break out in one of their factory premises. The fire created havoc in the area due to high rise flames. The incident was so heavy that the company’s ready products of Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP) and Spring Mattress’ manufacturing unit and ready products were totally destroyed in the incident. Due to timely available rescue operation and with the help of locals and rescue team of fire fighters, soon the fire got into control and the damage was not very much because it did not spread to their production units. Their Moulded Furniture and other units for different operations remained safe and soon the company started their supply and production by October 7, 2019 after taking all safety measures and calculating the loss of the fire breakout.

Mr Udit Goel, Director, Ashoka Fome Multi Plast Limited commented that there are many rumours in the market regarding the fire breakout in the factory. He also accepted that there was a fire breakout in the factory and clarified everything in the video release to reduce the panic situation and wrong information spreading into the market. He said that Ashoka Foam Multi Plast Limited based at Bareilly caught into fire on September 30, 2019 in which the company’s ACP (Aluminium Composite Panel) raw material, finished goods and spring mattresses’ entire plant and finished goods were destroyed. But, with the help of local people and fire fighters’ support, the company officials and staff controlled that fire and stopped it to spread to production units.

“Our ACP unit and Plastic Moulded furniture unit is safe and working to its full capacity now after a few days of halt. The raw material for ACP which was damaged has been procured and most of the material has reached the factory. By October 07, 2019 the unit has started to work in its full-fledged capacity. Besides, the company’s second unit of Plastic Moulded Furniture did not observe any harm from fire breakout. Its stock is safe and by October 7, 2019 the dispatch and delivery has started. Spring mattresses’ units and goods observed maximum damage in the fire. But the company has started its production at its two sister units and its finished products have already started supplying into the market,” clarified Mr. Udit Goel, Director of the company.

The company appeals to the users and customers not to believe in rumours and cross check information from the company source before making any decision. The company’s director promised to bring back normal production and supply chain management with extra production very soon which has already started from nOctober 7, 2019. Ashoka Foam in span of 28 years since its inception is recognized as one of the most updated, ethically managed and process oriented company in India.
