DELHI NCR PMA’S 3RD GENERAL BODY MEETING HELD IN ROHTAK, ASK FOR 10% PRICE RISE

In the general body meeting of Delhi NCR Plywood Manufacturers’ Association (DPMA) called up by Mr. Amrit Lal Goel, General Secretary in presence of Mr. Vikas Khanna, President, DNPMA organised on 19 February 2021 at The Gazania, Rohtak more than 50 industrialists from across Delhi-NCR were present. In the meeting following agenda was discussed which include the Increment in prices of plywood on account of hike in prices of all kinds of raw material and other consumables goods, invoicing concerns, issue of market committee fees, issue of fire NOC and NOC for ground water abstraction form CGWB.

After listening to the proposal given by other members Mr. Vlkas Khanna given the final outcomes as follows: I. DELHI NCR PMA’S 3RD GENERAL BODY MEETING HELD IN ROHTAK, ASK FOR 10% PRICE RISE At least 10% increment in existing price structure in all wood panel products; 2. Initiate practice of Invoicing at new prices with extra transportation cost, 3. Proposal will be drafted by core team to get rid of market fees, 4. Proper fire fighting system must be installed at units keeping in a view that it’s very crucial need for any type of emergency and one knowledgeable consultant will be appointed to get NOC from department, 5. Units have to get installed a telemetry meter consuming less than 10 KID and a consultant should be hired for units consuming more than 10KLD and 6. Due to purchase of raw material on cash basis the association member should restrict credit facility with immediate effects. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks given by Mr Vikas Khanna.
