Ambica Engineers headed by Mohit Abhay Raj Chhajer has recently ventured into manufacturing of Cushion Pads for short cycle lamination presses globally – make in India for the first time ever in association with industry veteran Mr Marc Bishop who has worked for Cushion Pads manufactures in several countries.
Mohit AbhayRaj Chhajer says that Cushion Pads are used in short cycle hot press and Plywood Press for making Matt Ply to buffer the pressure and transfer the heat. The Cushion Pad is placed between the hot platen and the press plate. During the COVID19 lockdown, the import from China was difficult and logistics were far behind on time, Mohit thought about an idea that could assist Indian companies with high quality & cost-effective products manufactured locally. After detailed research he decided to venture into manufacturing of Cushion Pads. Hence, he came up with the brand “KooSHen” by AMBICA ENGINEERS.
“KooSHen” by AMBICA ENGINEERS (www.cushionpadscl.com) currently supplies Cushion Pads to over 250 clients globally including household names like Century Prowud, Heritage Boards, Salasar, Richa Particle, Flavicon Eco Board, Vihaan Boards to name a few. “Our Cushion Pad raw materials are sourced from Germany and produced with high quality European standards.
Mohit says, “We have two manufacturing lines with 6ft Wide and 4ft Wide. Currently, 70% of our Pads are catered in the domestic market and the balance is exported. With operations in Asia, Europe & America we’re committed to showcase India as the manufacturing destination of the 21st century & beyond.”
