In current trend, the surface of doors have become more important, hence there is rising trend of Laminates, HDF, MDF, Melamine Coatings, Membrane Foil, Deco- Paints, Decorative Veneers etc for its surface. Today, Doors have become more a fancy item for your home. It is also true that the door's demand is growing at 25% every year during last decade.

Last month a group of quality doors producers have decided to increase the price upto 15%, saying they prefer to offer quality products as per standard, thus they have decided to increase prices. Using lower thickness laminates and sub-standard quality of foils are another worry for doors users.

 

A door as a product is known for its good quality infill materials, standard size of frame, good bonding along with its strength, durability, thickness and Life Guarantee. The different surfaces match with the interior is another value addition of it, and suppliers and industry should not use these features to hide its basic quality parameters. Reports also receive from the market that a major chunk of doors are not even qualifying the basic standard of BIS, although they use ISI 2202.

Every building materials product prices are skyrocketing because the present situation is beyond control of manufacturing companies, hence Doors manufacturers must dare to ask the genuine price rather than compromising with quality.
