Ehsan Agro Wood Products Pvt. Ltd, a leading name since decades with a trusted and industry leading offerings in Plywood, Shuttering Ply and varied range of doors has launched laminates under the brand ‘Splice’ in the Global Summit in Dubai on 31 March 2022. Over 80 guests including retailers, distributors, architects and interior designers/contractors from India and abroad were present along with the company Directors Mr Ahsan Kareem Khan and Mr Faizan Ahmad and their family members. Among them the dealers from Nepal and Dubai were also there in the Global Summit.
The program started with the video play of the company’s manufacturing facility and making of various products within the premises. Mr Ahsan Kareem Khan, Chairman, Splice Group welcomed the guests and explained very beautifully about their journey in the wood panel industry. He said that right from the beginning they focused on quality offerings and excellent after sales service. “This is the backbone of the company that helped us grow exponentially. Splice believes in adhering to all the required statutory and regulatory standards related to products to help them remain quality conscious and competitive for consistent customers’ satisfaction,” he added.
Splice uses a dedicated quality control mechanism throughout its production process to achieve world class standards. Adhering to durability and elegance, each Splice product is chemically treated at every stage to cross-check infestation of insects, borers, termites, fungus and other insects. On top of it, each of the products gets periodically tested in a lab which is equipped with top-of-the-line line testing instruments to check conformity with the ISI specification regarding quality control and output.
“We maintain the same practices of quality offering and excellent after sales service to be followed by the dealers and channel partners working across the globe offering a range of the products from Splice. The objective to organize the GLOBAL SUMMIT is to make our channel partners, architects and interior designers have a get-together and see the Dubai World Expo 2022 with close observation. I believe that by watching the expo they will have vision, new ideas and enthusiasm; and with that they will work well. Along with that, the Global meet facilitated them to interact with our overseas dealers at one point,” said Mr Ahsan.
After the announcement of laminate manufacturing they have unveiled laminates of various ranges in 0.8mm, 0.7mm, door skin etc. They also showcased beautiful folders on the occasion. Mr Faizan Ahmad, Managing Director, Splice Group and the Director of Splice Laminate Pvt Ltd said, “This is the first manufacturing plant in the Eastern India at Gorakhpur as there are no laminate manufacturing units in between Kolkata and Lucknow. The dealers and distributors in the region now will get quality service and a range of products from us without any delay.”
“We have done extensive surveys for two years and observed numerous folders in the market before venturing into laminate manufacturing. After getting a satisfactory result of the study and observing an excellent growth potential in the product category in the region, we installed a machine and produced excellent quality laminate with high quality papers, plates, colors & designs,” he added. He also expressed happiness and gratitude for the success to their channel partners and said that without their support it was not possible.
“Becoming the first laminate manufacturing plant in the Eastern region of the country is a matter of pride. Now the dealers in the region will not have to wait for quality products and better after sales service,” he added further.
“It’s our responsibility to offer best quality laminates, doors and plywood at reasonable prices to contribute to the mission of nation building,” said Mr Ahsan.
Mr Ahsan Kareem Khan said that Gorakhpur and surrounding areas are going through rapid development. “The Chief Minister of the state also belongs to this city. Very shortly Gorakhpur will become an important city of Uttar Pradesh as the road connectivity is getting much better than it was before. It will help the company to make the manufactured goods to reach any parts of the county within the stipulated time for the delivery. We will play an important role in the housing development of the region with our offerings of laminate, veneer, plywood, doors etc,” he added.
On the occasion the company also launched the Splice veneer range in which numerous attractive natural ranges have been included. They have an entire range of products including veneer, HPL in various thicknesses, Plywood, Block Boards, Flush Door, Panel Door, Laminated Door and Shuttering Plywood. They are providing a vast range of doors i.e. Solid Wooden Doors, Engineer Doors, PVC Membrane doors, HDF Doors, as well as Jali Wood Doors. The company has appointed film actor Mr Rajpal Yadav as brand ambassador of their range of products under Splice.
They are also providing customized doors. In terms of different designs, colours, materials, and size as per the customer need and current market demand the company has a strong R&D team of professionally qualified personnel who specially works on developing and finding best quality products, so that the end-user can get the products at an affordable price. They are very optimistic with low cost housing for people. Mr Ahsan says that he wants to grow 5 times in 5 years along with his channel partners.
