Regency is Excellent Maintaining Incomparable Trust Among Customers

Latur based Ventktadri Plywood is nearly 20 years old firm which is incepted Mr Manish Wandewar after an able guidance of his brother-in-law Mr Anand Jawdwar, who has long experience of trading in wood panels and allied industry having a wholesale shop at Nanded. After his graduation in 1993 Mr Manish was a helping hand to his brother-in-law. Mr Manish believes in honesty and move ahead with this principle. The association with Regency brand is a turning point for his business serving the customers with quality product on reasonable price.

How did you come to wood panel trade and how is the journey so far?

I started to work with my Brother-in-law in his wholesale shop at Nanded after completing study in 1993. He guided me and Venktadri Plywood started in 2004 in Latur. It was a wonderful journey to come into wood panel trading under the guidance of my brother-inlaw Mr Anand Jawdwar. He trained me about trade and customers handling. Initially I was selling non branded and later after realising that to grow in business and serve the high end customers traders need to go into brand. Recently I got associated with Regency Plywood.

How did you get in touch with Regency and why?

I was known to Lalit ji for long time but got associated with Regency a few months back. Six months before I  received a call from Regency and their local representative  visited my shop and asked for the Regency dealership. They were looking for any dynamic person who can represent the brand and work enthusiastically for the brand identity, quality and services, Regency attracted us very much. In this very short span of six months we received very good sales as people of the region were well known to the brand and its quality. Being associated with them both of us received very good boost in sales.

How is the brand supported in your growth?

To be very frank I am very much impressed with their aggressive marketing and brand awareness activities in the region. We are being supported with hoardings, advertisement in cinema halls, auto rickshaw, and their marketing team etc. They are already doing beyond our expectation. They also conduct architects meet, carpenters/contractors meet, occasionally offering gift items in good manner. This is a brand which value for money and focus on quality and service. They are very cooperative as well.

What products of Regency you are selling?

I am selling their entire range of products such as plywood like Commercial; MR, BWR, etc and also maintaining stock of their Birch Ply which gives 72 hours boiling water proof guaranty. It has zero core gaps. We are largely selling their Gurjan and Alternate plywood. In my opinion these products are with perfect quality as there is no complaint till date in six months. We are very confident being associated with Regency as they have raised an excellent brand and maintaining an incomparable trust among customers.

How is the sales in the region and what are are the growth prospects?

To be very frank there is a bit slowdown in sales of plywood in the region. Since last three year there was a lack of drinking water and it was made available by trains. Government has done a considerably good works for infrastructure development and many new projects have come up, so there is good improvement is livelihood. Latur has received a very large Railway coach factory with the investment of 1600 crore. Besides, many other projects from government as well as private companies are coming up. So, we are expecting good growth of infrastructure in Latur which will boost our sales as well.

What message you would like to give your customers?

It is my belief that honesty is the best policy for growth and I definitely maintain it every time. I do not prefer any commission based system of business. I personally do visit to customers’ site and convince them for using branded product. I would like say that this is an era of information technology and communication. The customers coming up to the shops are well informed, so one should not miss-guide with wrong information. They should be given facts and do the business with honesty, because once they know that they have been wrong informed and cheated, will never turn back.
