License Impact In UP: 75 Presses And Two Dozen Spindles Peeling Machines’ Orders have been Confirmed

The recent order of issuing new license for plywood and veneer units in Uttar Pradesh, has given a boost to plywood machinery suppliers. As per report, the machinery manufacturers and suppliers are getting calls every day for hydraulic press, peeling machines, Boilers, Driers, Veneer Core Composer, Sanding Machines, DD saw, Fork lift etc. A Yamuna Nagar based machinery supplier confirmed to the Ply Reporter correspondent that he received two dozen queries and some orders are in final stage where as some people ask for quotation. The machine suppliers are upbeat as they keep getting 2-3 calls related to UP plants everyday.

The industry entrants are curious to know about time period of delivery though they are not sure about how long the necessary paper work will take. Machinery suppliers feel that the way everyone wants the short delivery time, and they are ready to pay extra for this. It seems Uttar Pradesh manufacturing establishment will be speedy. It is also reported Plywood manufacturers have began enquiring about Chinese hot presses too to avoid delays. The people who are expanding their set up and have got hot presses are willing to install machines within no time. As per report, there are more queries of Press and Peeling machines on urgent basis. Ply Reporter sources say that approximately 75 presses and 2 dozen spindles peeling machines’ order have been confirmed till writing this news.

The large chunks of these orders are from existing plywood units, who have got license notification. They don’t want to delay or wait instead moving ahead with quicker capacity addition in current set up. The peeling units don’t need much infrastructure to start, hence they are also in rush to start production. Though setting up fresh units will take a year time, hence the new license allotees are planning to have proper set up once the papers are complete.
