I have one question in my mind about film face ply. In our trade I found day by day shuttering plywoods demand is rising, so many companies from Yamunanagar and other places are being engaged in manufacturing this ply.
In huge competition all the manufacturers are selling their products on weight basis, which is correct or not that is a big issue, when trader goes to a project to sell film face they also replicate same theory and give some Guarantee for ply about the repetition, if he sells 30 kg ply or 34kg ply he passes some guaranty to the project but at the end no one can get particular result for the Guarantee, so my request to you if you will publish some detail with technical knowhow it will be helpful for our trade.

I refer to the cover story article of May 2010 issue. It appears that you take a lot of efforts in preparing such articles. I am sure that the industry is immensely benefited. As a follow up to this article, I suggest, you may publish your views on ‘current training needs of the wood products industry in India’. This should probably cover both ‘on the job’ and ‘off the job’ training of personnel employed at specific area of operation and at various levels.
You may try to get all the information on the training facilities at Institutes, industry, associations,etc. in the country.
