Indian Institute of Architects, Akola (IIA) Centre celebrated its completion of 100th year at JALSA-THE FARM at village Ridhora near to Akola, Maharashtra on 16th December 2017. IIA is an organization of all practicing architects. It is attached with the main parent body at Maharashtra Chapter. IIA always works for betterment of members and their families. The centenary celebration programme was sponsored by Gennext Plywood (P) Limited, Kolkata who are manufacturing plywood and decorative veneers in the brand name of Natural plywood and Asean Plywood & Veneers.
Mr. Mahabir Agwral, Managing Director of the Company graced the occasion with his presence. Company’s sole distributor at Akola, Mr. Manish Agrawal of Manish Sales played a very productive role in organizing the function. The programme included cutting of cake with centenary logo and felicitation of special achievement of key members. Ar. Jayprakash Rathi, Chairman and Ar. Vaibhav Shah, Hon. Secretary of IIM addressed the gathering and welcomed all guests. More than 150 individuals from around 50 families attended the programme and enjoyed the fabulous arrangement. The event was beautifully planned with warm welcome by host himself. Special care was taken to involve the families especially kids and ladies. The members thanked Mr. Agarwal and M/s Manish Sales for their cooperation in making the programme a success.
