Durian Facilitated with Medical Treatment to over 1000 Villagers in Rajasthan Under Enrich a Life Program

Durian, a known name in furniture, door, veneer and plywood, conducted health checkups for people residing in the remote villages of Rajasthan. Such programmes are a part of the Company’s CSR initiative named “Enrich a life.’

The recently conducted a massive health campaign was organized in the remote village of Udaipurvati, Rajasthan. The health checkup program included for Eyes, Ortho, Dermatology, Gynecology, Dental, ENT, BloodPressure, Diabetes, ECG and Cataract Operations.

A qualified medical team attended to over 1000 villagers in a month. The Company's Chairman, Sajjan Dokania accompanied by his wife ensured its smooth operation by visiting the site. The objective behind such campaign is to provide relief at the doorstep of the economically weaker section of the rural community which has limited access to medical facilities.

Durian also provides essential belongings to many rural households. Thus, through its philanthropic endeavors, Durian is engaged in uplifting the lower strata of the society and enriching the lives of those who are deprived of basic necessities.
