Punjab based brand Magnus Plywood manufactured by Sri Ram Panels has reached at sales revenue of nearly Rs 160 crore during financial year 2018 - 19. This company is the only enterprise that has crossed 150 crore mark in Punjab state in plywood category with a consistent sales growth in double digits over last few years. Though, the company awaits its audited balance sheet, yet the numbers expected to be achieved by Magnus Plywood in FY 18 - 19, are one of the very few examples in North India that have made news in last few years.
With strong infrastructure and unique product bucket, Mr Mahesh Gupta, Director of Sri Ram Panel group expressed further growth in current financial year. Excited with the growth of organized plywood and panel business after GST, the company is going to expand its product range into related products including decorative sheets manufacturing business. Director Mr. Mahesh Gupta said, “Sri Ram panels is venturing in Decorative Laminates manufacturing with innovative texture and imported décor paper. We have very positive outlook in expansion of decorative products business. we expect our product folder to reach to markets by September. We are also ready to enter into Decorative Veneer manufacturing business which will start producing in current financial year.”
The company has planned to widen its products portfolio with fresh investment and joint ventures and has set a target to cross Rs. 200 crores annual turnover in current financial year. Mr Gupta said that “We are known for manufacturing of international quality standard products, and we will maintain the same standard in our decorative products also.”

They is leading producer of film faced shuttering plywood, LVL, Scaffolding planks, H - Beams and Formwork for construction sector along with various industrial and transport sector plywood products such as pallets for various industries, metal reinforced truck flooring, chequered plywood, high abrasive truck flooring, Aluminium - surfaced transport - friendly flooring for bus, commercial vehicles, trains, ships, etc. Apart from these they produce densified veneer lumber (DVL) for door frames, 3D - surfaced all purpose doors, container flooring as per international standard, high quality interiors grades plywood such as Acoustic Plywood, Marine Grade Plywood and Boards, Fire rated plywood etc.
