Mr. Anwar Ahmad owned AL-Badriya Wood Industries, Mangalore, Karnataka based one of the leading manufacturers of Plywood, Shuttering Plywood, Block Board and Doors received MSME Business Excellence Award in Nitte-KBL MSME Conclave and Business Excellence Awards 2019’ ceremony organized at Hotel Ocean Pearl in Mangaluru on December 7, 2019. Mr. Anwar has been awarded for outstanding achievements through innovation, leadership, dedication, and commitment. During the program, nearly 250 MSME entrepreneurs and industry delegates from different parts of the country (especially, Karnataka) also shared their ideas, experiences, and strategies, for the sustainable development of MSMEs.
“I am very happy about receiving this award. This is the result of our hard work in the last 20 years in the wood panel industry. The company is dedicated to procuring face veneer in Gurjan, Eucalyptus, and TPD in different quality. We have plywood and Particle board production units in Mangalore, Kochin, and Perambabur and for that, we are trading face veneer from Indonesia, Burma, and many other countries. We have a wide range of materials and the customers are very much satisfied with getting their choice of materials. We also manufacture shuttering plywood in different capacities in 12 or 18mm along with chequered plywood,” said Mr. Anwar after receiving the award.
“We are mostly in the South India market such as in states like Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and now we are expanding our market to Maharashtra, Gujarat, and MP. At present we are looking for dealers and distributors in these states. We are also doing well in particleboard and witnessing good sales in the southern India market,” he added.
