Last five years have also been phenomenal for ACP industry growth in India but largely for below Rs 50 PSF material.
India’s Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP) sector had registered huge growth in last decade. The growth was noted due to high demand of economical grade materials such as Partition Panels, economical grade Aluminium Composite Panel of thin coil materials or PE coated grade, which will now open up for upper quality material.
The rationale behind the requirement is huge infra spent by government and corporates in India. Year 2022 will mark a turning curve for the ACP industry and trade when demand for premium grade materials will also witness to rise. The demand scenario seems to be asking for more of innovative colors and shades, premium wood grains and stones along with genuine life durability. RERA (mandatory for compilation of a project in a fixed time period), Highway projects, and other infrastructural and hospitality sectors will also boost more queries of premium quality ACP Panels.
Survey hints that ACP is most affordable, easy to install and help in fast execution of a project; hence many builders are looking for high quality ACP for their commercial buildings. They prefer fire rated ACP panels, Honeycomb ACP Panels and sober colours for their projects. The less availability of Glass, and labouroriented execution for fixing other facade panels, are also supporting the good quality ACP demands in India.
Year 2022 will be a robust year for high quality ACP manufacturers and organised brands. Reports from Southern and Western markets indicate that 6-7 lead ACP brands may register beyond 20 percent growth in FY 2023 due to increased demand for high quality products in commercial buildings.
