3rd Price Rise in Laminates, Fresh Advisory by ILMA

ILMA, being the representative body of laminate producers across the country, had assessed the unprecedented increase in the unit prices of all the raw materials only in the month of March and even Jacking up in April. The industry is also seeing substantial increase in the cost of fuel and transport and this has resulted in an increase in the overhead cost of finished goods.

Hence, as per the individual members requests and all ILMA members discussion had during a virtual meeting held on 04.04.2022; ILMA is recommending advisory from members to analyse the cost and impact of raw materials. As per recommendation date 15th April, 2022, the impact of raw materials on 1 mm, 0.9 mm, 0.8 mm, 0.7 mm and door skin are increased to Rs. 40, Rs. 30, Rs 25, Rs. 20 and Rs.20 respectively.
