The Indian Laminate Manufacturers Association (ILMA) has evaluated the minimum input cost increases for various laminate categories based on the relentless rise in the rates of raw material which are affecting the production cost of the final products.
As per the advisory, ILMA has observed that minimum addition in the net cost of final products in various categories such as 0.7mm, 0.8mm, 0.9mm and 1.00mm laminates amounts to Rs 15, Rs 20, Rs 25 and Rs 30 + GST respectively.
ILMA has also reassured that the Board Members are closely monitoring the situation and assessing the evolving cost impact on the industry. Members are advised to remain vigilant and aligned with industry-wide measures during this period of uncertainty.
As per association, it is advised that each member must take an independent commercial decision based on their own costing; as this advisory is only for general industry guidance and industry stakeholders shall be better placed to take appropriate action in accordance with the suggestion.
