M/s Avadh Glass & Plywood House is a famous trading establishment which is well maintained with a huge stock of wood panel products. This is a 35 years old firm leading by Mr Sobhit Agarwal with his brother. He ventured into this ancestral business as a helping hand 20 years before which was started by his father. His father was a leading trader in the city of Lucknow and well known personality in the trading wood panel products. Later under the guidance of his father Mr Shobhit Agarwal reached to new heights in service to the trade. They got associated with AICA Laminates 15 years before and achieved success after success serving government projects along with retail customers in the region. Here is a sneak-peak of the conversation with Mr. Shibhit Agarwal.

When & how did you become a channel partner with SUNMICA/AICA Laminates.?

Approximately 15years before we got associated with them and since then we become a member to them in industry service.

How the brand & quality of AICA helping in your business?

It is a renowned & leading brand in laminate industry, which are approved at almost everywhere in government, retail projects, thereby its offerings are easy to sell and also supporting the sale of other products.

What are the strengths of AICA which you identified during your journey with the company?

Their product quality is excellent. We have got no complaints regarding quality till now.

What is your opinion on new ranges introduced by the company during the last 3 years?

The KAIYA range is very good product. It should be a big success in our market.

AICA being an international brand does it add value to the business?

As mentioned earlier,it contributes to the sale of other products as well; we are privileged to be a channel partner of this International brand.

Marketing strategies should be improved to boost the brand at further level. Today the competition is tough and the marketing strategy will support them as well as the dealers associated with AICA.

In the present market scenario do you feel that AICA should offer other related products also like plywood, pre-lam Board and doors etc. Give your opinion with reason?

Yes, I suggest, MDF, Pre-laminated boards and Plywood are the potential products and it will be another game changer for them if they come up with these products. The addition of these products will also support the dealers’ fraternity with their brand value.

According to you what else the company should do to improve its brand image? Marketing strategies should be improved to boost the brand at further level. Today the competition is tough and the marketing strategy will support them as well as the dealers associated with them.

What is your view about future growth of laminates & other alternated surface products?

Despite many players coming in, still there is lot of scope to grow further.

Give Brief information about yourself?

I joined Avadh Glass & Plywood House in 2000 with support of my father who is a veteran in laminate/plywood business having experience of almost 40 years.
