How do you see the future of PVC laminate in India
The future of PVC laminates market is very good because earlier companies were importing it and had no technical data and quality assurance, but now customers’ requirement has change; accordingly Virgo has come up with manufacturing PVC Laminates. We have also get our products certified with the Green guard certification and other Certifications as well, so we can enter easily in projects and satisfy the architects, contractors and customers.
In last two years what were new offerings in this category?
In last 2 years there are many new developments like offering metallic designs, wooden, veneer etc. With the help of these designs, we help the consumer to buy PVC laminates who cannot afford veneer due to its very high cost. With it the customers enjoy the same look on very less price.
Why should a customer choose PVC laminates for their laminating needs?
Customers choose PVC Laminates because it’s very easy to clean, borer free, water proof, termite proof, environment friendly, Toxin free, Lead free, stain resistant, corrosion Resistant, etc. Its gloss level is very high in comparison to the laminates and is a colour core laminate with 90 degrees bendable feature.
Architects and OEMs are not much fascinating or aware about using PVC laminates. What is your view?
As I already told you that earlier this product was imported from different countries, so they don’t have the solutions of their problems. Now we have manufacturing units with the certifications, solutions and advantages of PVC laminates Virgo had already started the working with Architects and OEMs and hope they will be more fascinated in future.
There are a number of application ache, like scratches, problem in cutting, not proper bending/pasting and grooving. What is your observation?
I want to say that read proper guideline which is pasted in PVC laminate sheets/folders. If they do not understand please discuss with the distributor, dealer, or company representative. Also, you can check you tube channel, there are many videos before cutting and installing the PVC Laminate there.
