Despite many challenges in plywood manufacturing industry, few plywood plants are expanding their set up. In Delhi-NCR region, units have been affected due to the Pollution scenario in Delhi-NCR, that has kept their annual growth under stagnancy. To find a way to growth, few of the industries have opted to modernise and expand.
Plywood companies have been expanding its plywood capacity with setting up modern machines. These plywood brands are taking over other manufacturing units also to expand their business and improve supply. According to reports, NCR located brands such Real Ply, Flamingo, Supa Ply, Surya Plywood, Amba Plywood etc have expanded their production capacity in their existing set up or have taken over other plants and installing new machines and equipment to increase the production.
As per report, Real Ply has introduced calibrated plywood in the market, and they have set up new units for making plywood with entirely new infrastructure. They also took over a new unit in Delhi-NCR region to improve supply of good quality plywood to their customers. Mr Vikash Khanna, SUPA plywood says that there is always a bright prospect of good quality products, and with changing market demand, ambitious and growth bound manufacturers are setting up modern machines for producing calibrated plywood. He adds, there is good scope for Plywood units in Delhi-NCR, which are focusing on quality and brand visibility.
Flamingo is also setting up new machines in its other unit, which they have taken over last year, and they want to cater the demand of high-quality customers. Mr. Vikas Khetawat says that he always tends to produce high quality products, because Flamingo as a Decorative Veneer producing brand, is known to cater high quality customers in the market.
Ghaziabad based Amba Plywood group has recently shifted to new plywood manufacturing units, which are equipped with the latest machineries. Mr. Subash Salhotra says that these new units are helping the company to serve their customers with more valueadded quality products. In Hapur, Bhiwadi and other NCR regions, modifications are taking place at brisk pace which is certainly going to facilitate better quality material in time to come
