FFSC Discuses One Nation, One Industry Initiative at Its First Mumbai Regional Skill Chapter

FFSC recently invited leading industry players from the Mumbai region to be a part of the very first Industry Meet of the Regional Skill Chapter in Mumbai. Hosted by the Narsi Group at its Navi Mumbai plant, the meet saw participation from more than 50 companies including interiors, furniture and enabling sub-sectors.
Additionally, an open forum discussion also took place where keynotes were shared on the skilling interventions that are required by the industry and how a regional skill chapter will work towards implementing the same on a hub and spoke model.
The meeting discussed the launch of the One Nation, One Industry campaign; the FFSC regional skill chapter and its operating procedures; skill academies including beginner, apprenticeship and centre of excellences; and felicitated new members of the industry. Additionally, an open forum discussion also took place where keynotes were shared on the skilling interventions that are required by the industry and how a regional skill chapter will work towards implementing the same on a hub and spoke model. The first Industry Meet of the Regional Skill Chapter, thus, received an overwhelming response from industry leaders and has further boosted it by giving the ideal start to Mumbai’s FFSC Regional Skill Chapter.
