Haryana Densified Manufacturers Association (HDMA) has decided to make an increment in the prices of Film Face (12 mm) Plywood by Rs 2 per sqft in accordance with its respective weight and thickness.
The decision was taken after a mutual consent between the members, in a full body meeting held at Yamunanagar on 19th September. It was also noted that in the wake of persisting volatility in all sea fares rates and relentless increase in the petrochemicals prices following the conflict in West Asia, the prices of phenol and formaldehyde have been uncontrollably rising over the last few weeks.
As per the association, the manufacturers have found the input cost burden beyond a threshold, where they are unable to absorb any more raw material/ chemical hikes from the importers, hence the association, in a members’ meeting held at Yamunanagar reached at the decision in the interest of maintaining the production quality products.
The association has also called for cooperation and support of the channel partners to navigate through these uncertain times together so that the industry operations could be run smoothly.
