Century Prowud has been manufacturing quality products complying with the industry standards, and now it's launching its latest Low Emission Premium Plus. Could you tell us about the launch?
The 21st century is all about upgrading. It's about finding the next better alternative. Low Emission Premium Plus is a much-needed upgrade on the Premium Plus. The pandemic has put health at the forefront and while we try to avoid the virus outside, the health hazard by our furniture and interior is often being neglected. Furniture releases poisonous fumes and other emission substances due to body heat but, with Low Emission Premium Plus Grade there’s no such issue. It is safer and healthier for you and your loved ones. And just like any other offering, it is standing true to our brand ethos and value of being safe for nature too!
Is Low Emission Grade a new product category, or is it an upgrade on the pre-existing Premium Plus range of Century Prowud MDF?
The Low Emission Premium Plus conforming E1 Grade is an upgrade to the already existing Premium Plus. It is an upgrade that the 21st century needs. With the growing concerns around pollution and the demand for healthier alternatives, Low Emission Premium Plus is the need of the hour for both the consumers and the environment.
Will this newly added feature lead to a hike in the current Premium Plus price? If yes, what is the extra cost the consumer will have to pay for the upgrade?
Low Emission Premium Plus has been priced at the same level as Premium Plus because we believe one can’t put a price on good health, so our customers don’t have to pay anything extra.. Low Emission Premium Plus has all the good qualities & advantages of Premium Plus like High Density, High Moisture Resistant, Termite & Borer Resistant at the same cost, beating the latter in the most important aspect i.e. health. Low Emission Premium Plus is definitely a smart and safe choice for consumers & their families.
How is it going to benefit the customers in the long run?

What's your view of the current and future demand for low emission products?
I believe that low emission is the way forward in this day and age. In a post-pandemic world where we’re all staying at home to defeat the virus outside, it’s concerning to know that there’s a killer in our homes too and with Low Emission Premium Plus, all the worries regarding indoor pollution can be put to rest. It’s safer than any other alternatives out there and is the only way forward when it comes to keeping the inside of house free from poisonous fumes.
